Before beginning the de-potting and decanting process, ensure your hands are cleansed and tools are sanitised.

Step 2

The great curate

Plan out what products you would like to store. We recommend placing the pods in the order you use them, or whatever is convenient for you. Carefully transfer a portion of product into the pod, use the wand to gently shave or scoop the perfect amount of product if required. Avoid overfilling the pod, allowing ample space for the secure seal to close completely, ensuring you fill below the maximum volume line.

Magnetic Muse

Embrace the magic of magnetic interchangeability as you effortlessly switch your palette to suit you. You can even utilise the magnetic feature to transport eyeshadow pans within the spacious large pod. Some of our avid Portare users have used heat on their original eyeshadow packaging. Using a blow dryer, they apply heat to the back of the eyeshadow pan. This will help soften the glue. Be patient and avoid overheating. If possible, try and retain your palette horizontal, keeping in mind that if your palette is transported vertically, your product may gather to the seal. If this happens, allow time for the product to settle horizontally, and wipe the edges and seal clean. The pods are airtight, however as the item has been decanted it will naturally oxidise. Endeavour to keep the pods closed to minimise oxidisation.
